WINTEQ'S ESTABLISHMENT BACKGROUND

The Idea of WINTEQ was generated by the needs of production machinery and equipment to provide various kinds of components for automotive sector in PT.Astra Otoparts group business field. Based on this forethought, on March 2006, PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk established WINTEQ (Workshop for Industrial Equipment). The workshop specializes in industrial equipment engineering and production, not only production-machinery but also the equipment to support the industrial components based on the specification from the customer. Those production supporting equipment cover mould & dies, jigs & fixtures, cutting tools and many others. This workshop establishment is a part of the anticipation to deal with future automotive industry's growth. The future automotive industry will face great amount of competition in local, regional, or even global scale.

WINTEQ'S product range consists of various industrial equipment such as special purpose machinery, automation, mould & dies, jigs & fixtures, cutting tools and other related products. In machinery, WINTEQ has the ability to manufacture, modify / upgrade, customize industrial machinery, and keep up to date with today’s technology.This ability is a unique potential that has to be constantly built to broaden experience. In manufacturing, WINTEQ carries out several process with aids from CAD/CAE/CAM/CAQ softwares. Expertise upon these softwares becomes critical, because it will accelerate manufacturing process, and thus will decrease time to market. In maintenance, WINTEQ regularly does repairing and trouble-shooting services as well as machinery reconditioning. This maintenance capability will mutually strengthen the capability to manufacture machinery due to close communication among the industrial equipment user, designer, and manufacturer. In workshop, WINTEQ products cover mould & dies jigs & fixtures, cutting tools and production equipment. The capability to manufacture these equipment is also supported by the mastery of technology and aid software (CAD/CAM), All of this will accelerate the process up until the manufacturing level.
